The Red Heifer and The Noahide

                                                                       Parashas Chukas:
The Red Heifer: Honoring the Purity of Shem and the Holy Land
                                                                 [Background of Red Heifer]
In this week’s Torah Portion of “Chukas”, the Para Adumah is the most perplexing topic in the entire Torah. Since the Torah was given, there has been one question that has stumped the minds of every scholar, even the great wisdom of King Solomon: what is the meaning [even on any level] of the mysterious command imposed upon the Jewish People – The Para Adumah [Red Heifer]? Even as there may be success in answering this enigma, the ultimate answer evades the most diligent scholar each time; for every door that we go through, the outcome will be a fresh set of doors to investigate and once again ponder the appropriate path that will grant adequate understanding of the challenge known as the Para Adumah.
[Noahides and their hidden interest of the Red Heifer]
When we gaze at the terrain of Torah students of today, we interestingly find that it is not only “one” nation who is enthralled with the anticipation of returning to a state of Holiness that can only be achieved with the return of the Para Adumah in a fully functioning Torah state of affairs, for there is yet another – The Noahide Nations all over the World equally anticipate and yearn for this return to Holiness. We see this very clearly today, as there are tremendous efforts underway to reclaim the merit of possessing the Para Adumah and existing in this state of purity, in the Land of Israel; The Noahides are one of the main idealists furthering along the attempt to locate the elusive [purity of] The Red Heifer. [Purity and Holiness are two separate concepts; holiness is he who is separate, i.e. the Noahide from the rest of the World, whereas purity is the concept to remedy impurity, a reality and affliction (not only by sin, but by contact with the dead) that is imposed on the holy, i.e. Jews and in this case, Noahides] This may seem as a simple observation that does not warrant any further investigation, but one must ask, “where does this precedent come from,” for Gentiles to have a vested interest in something that would seem to garner no interest, namely the Para Adumah. If one were to invest thought and research [within Torah] perhaps the Torah does make this quite [unclearly] clear! Not only does the Torah allude to this eternal secret as being in relation to the Noahide, but there is absolute reason to consider that it is the very Noahides themselves that make the mystery of the Para Adumah!
[Red Heifer and the enigmatic text description in text of Torah; explaining “Ger”]
When we look into the Torah Verses of the Para Adumah, along with the basic instructions, details, and background of the sacred Mitzvah [commandment], there comes a strange detail that ends the Torah’s account of what will be the resting place of the ashes of the Para Adumah. If one looks to “Bamidbar” 19:10 – “…and it should be to The Children of Israel and to the “Ger” that dwells amongst you, an eternal [mysterious] decree” [והיתה לבני ישראל ולגר הגר בתוכם לחקת עולם] as we have learned with Jethro, who was also called a “Ger” along with the precedent to identify Noahides as “Gerim”, here too one not only can, but should make the same distinction. A Ger loosely means a convert [to Judaism], but in Devarim 14:21 in reference to the forbidden act of mixing milk and meat, the Torah identifies the Ger [literally dweller] to be a Noahide in particular. Let us not forget Aravnah the Noahide who sold the Temple Mount [expressing his direct connection to the heart of the Land of Israel] to King David as well, of which the Metzudas David commentary lists Aravnah as a “Ger Tzedek” [the righteous Ger] which is usually in reference to a Righteous Jewish Convert, yet the commentators have made it quite clear that this reference when spoken of Aravnah is a sure reference to his being a Noahide. [Thus the righteous Ger is the righteous Noahide when deviating from the other connotation of convert] Now that we have an absolute Torah principle that “Gerim” [plural for Ger] can [and often] refer to a Noahide, the Para Adumah scenario begins to make more sense [and ultimately leads to a greater path of confusion, as the Para Adumah never makes absolute sense, yet we have now pushed the envelope even further, with breaking through and making sense in the text, more questions are sure to follow!] when we identify “the Ger who dwells amongst you” as a Noahide.
[Torah commentary of text of Red Heifer]
Before we get into the particulars of how this works we need a basis, and that basis comes in the form of the Commentator “The Even Ezra.” The Even Ezra states in conjunction with the text in our verse [Bamidbar 19:10]:” [and for the Ger who dwells amongst you…] ‘So that it should be A Land of Israel of Holiness, for the [Glory is there/ Honor is there/ Honor of Shem (ben Noah); all 3 connotations are valid as the word for Glory/Honor “כבוד” has 2 meanings and the word for there and Shem “שם” has 2 meanings.]
[Why the Noahide is the “Ger” of the text]
If we take this Even Ezra literally and in context, while thinking into the text of the Torah in this same way, [that we are referring to a Convert to Judaism and not a Noahide] the explanation becomes rather difficult! [Thus forcing the conclusion that we do in fact speak of the Noahide] Why would the Torah need to state the Convert “living amongst you?” If this is an eternal decree, and therefore in context of a time when there will be a Third and final Temple, it should be obvious since the Convert lives amongst you. In this frame of thought, he should simply be considered as a Jew without being singled out as a Convert, as in this area there is no distinctive difference in sanctity. [There are levels of holiness of the Jewish People: Priest – Levi – Yisrael; the Yisrael and the Convert weigh the same, and thus there is not a sub-Jew standard on any level] And in this way, the Even Ezra does not make sense as being spoken of the Convert since obviously the Land would never suffer from the Convert; additionally the Convert does not convert for the sake of inheriting Land – even allegorically. Thus the logical conclusion is that the verse is in reference to the Noahide.
[Noahides and Israel via commentary of “Shem”]
Once we identify the Noahide in this verse, we can open up the doors of perception that baffle the mind when contemplating the Para Adumah. The first and most literal yet abstract reason this is a Noahide reference to the Para Adumah[as per the Even Ezra] is the usage of the word “שם” / Shem in the commentary. To put it simply: Noahides will one day be intrigued to live in the same Land as their Great forefather Shem. The Torah allows for this when it speaks of the “Ger Toshav” – “The Gentile who lives in the Land” and is a fervent follower of the 7 Laws of Noah as the Torah demands [belief in the system told over to Moses].
[Question: why then the Noahide and his affiliation of the Red Heifer]
The other way of understanding the Noahide here, is to simply take it literally because the extreme literal path makes no sense and leaves us without understanding, as shown before. On this level, the Torah makes an observation that the Noahide has already realized from his own life experience: he is connected to the Jewish People. From that moment on, even living in the Land of Israel [as Shem did and since the Land is the True Glory] is a possibility. The fact that the Para Adumah is a mystery [which we have solved now on some level – which proves to be consistent with study of the Para Adumah since it led to an even bigger question, one based on understanding!] does not contradict the fact that we have introduced a new facet to the never ending discovery of the Para Adumah. What we have done is shown a new question in Torah, one that sheds light on the nature of the Para Adumah: what is the connection of the Noahide and the Jew? The answer is simple: they unite under the umbrella of purity within the waters of the Para Adumah.
[Practicality of the Noahide and the Red Heifer]
It would seem that the Torah’s mystery in the Para Adumah is the secret of the Noahide, and that he is connected to the Jewish People in a way that maybe can’t be simply answered, to the point that the Torah says “you can’t figure it out totally!” One attempt to answer is that the Land must remain Holy, and the unification in the Land is this Purity of the Para Adumah. The constant purity amongst Jews and Noahides eradicates any schism of any potential separation, for the connection of the two people in the Land [a Land of the One-ness of God] must be a perfect seal, after all, the Light is going out to the Nations as One. [Not to be confused: One; as Genesis states the concept: “Like One”] This would in fact be the basis of why we learn Mikveh / ritual bathing from Jethro in relation to Noahides as a proactive practice. With a precedent of bathing in waters of  the Para Adumah for a level of the highest degree of Purity [even if the association to the Para Adumah coupled with the need of purity and affiliation with Israel is a mystery], then all the more so any type of ritual bath [even not on the sanctity of the Para Adumah] would be a meritorious and practical custom, one that could acclimate the Noahide to the Para Adumah, withholding the mitzvah as a foreign object before coming to the Land if he indeed does decide to dwell amongst Israel. [It could also serve as a Torah imposed fence so that if one happens upon the Land in haste he will be accustomed to ritual bath and not subject the Land to something alien and inappropriate]
[The gentile vs. the Noahide – “Adam”; Noahide and his Learning Torah]
In the Talmud Yevamos 61a the question arises about the nature of a “gentile” and his status of being impure after his death and upon burial. The decision is left as a bit of a question, yet there is one offshoot that the Talmud investigates: The Noahide who learns the Torah is compared to a High Priest, in that they share the name “Adam.” [(High level) Man]  King David also told over that, “The ‘Land’ is given to Bnei Adam.” Here the Bnei Adam would signal those who repaired Adam through Torah as opposed to the Bnei Adam who perpetuate his sin. [It should be noted the expression “repair of Adam has the same gematria as Torah, 611] It would then seem that the Talmud is issuing a secret of the Para Adumah text, proving that a Noahide does indeed merit the purification of the Red Heifer, and that the Noahide has a distinct connection to Israel. After all, Abraham is called “the Hebrew” and Shem is called the “Father of all Hebrews.” Perhaps by being knowingly connected to Shem invokes the Para Adumah as a need of one’s soul. [Every non-Jew called “Adam” has a direct relationship to Shem, even the original Adam, as Shem and Noah are the repair of the sin of Adam, as all were brought out by him.] It should be noted that Para Adumah is spelled in Hebrew, “פרה אדמה” – notice that “Adumah” is really “The Adam” when  we unscramble the letters. It is now clearly understood why the Noahides today have vested interest in the sacred Para Adumah: They are directly involved with its qualities for deep, personal, and mysterious reasons.
[The Noahide and his root back to Shem: a connection to Red Heifer]
The text will always remain a mystery in the absolute sense, but at least at this juncture we find an answer to many of Torah’s perplexing questions as to what is the reality of the Noahide on many levels. One thing remains perfectly clear, in that the rationale is traced directly back to Shem, as the Noahide who awakens his soul on its root level identifies with Shem and the existence of the Supernal Adam. [Adam in reference to learning Torah] The entire passage in the Torah would remain a bit unclear if it were not for a simple support in the name of Shem, as we mentioned amidst the commentaries. Once the Even Ezra explained the Torah’s Simple Meaning to go along with a difficult passage of Torah by the inclusion of a rogue “Shem” quotation, the door of many possibilities was once again opened in the one place in Torah that we would expect no less, the Para Adumah. What seems like a locked door in the face of many may just be a challenge to find a key called Shem. The key may not unlock every door, but at least it allowed the Noahide to enter where he is destined to be: alongside the Jewish people [in the sanctity of Torah study and way of life], and if that place is the Land of Israel, it is easy to conclude that Shem foresaw that too, as his yeshiva is in Israel.  If Shem made Israel possible after the Ark [and through his righteousness he still teaches through the Living Torah, as we saw with the Even Ezra], then the dream comes true when not only Jews, but Noahides as well, unite through the holy waters of the Para Adumah. It is only fitting that this key to understanding the Para Adumah, should come from the merit of an equally massive Torah concept: The Torah that comes through the hand of Shem ben Noah.

Sacred Canada: Agents Of Erev Rav

Israel is getting heavily involved with Canada, and in Banking [amongst the many Wisdoms of the World] for example, Canada is "showing the leadership."

Is there a deeper Edomite reality within Canada ready to come out with the association of Erev Rav?

In Yoma 10a, it discusses Nations such as Magog, Yavan, etc, and the Talmud there investigates the War of Iran and Edom in the End of Days.

One thing to note, "Gomer" is identified as Germany [an obvious Amalek/Edomite personality] and "Magog" is linked with "קנדיא" / Canada?!

Are we seeing Edom coming out of the  woodwork in association with the Erev Rav preparing for a global leap of dominance? [not to mention China in the East]

Point being: End Game characters are taking place, and it seems Canada is a "Rabim", tagging along with the greater "Pax Judaica Rabim", the question is: is this in the name of performing evil - of which Hashem says: in the Rabim do not go after it!

With Canada’s widespread experience in natural resources regulation and development and Israel’s eminence as an innovation hub, the two countries would make ideal partners for collaborative advancement in both traditional and renewable energy fields, a Canadian minister told The Jerusalem Post on Monday.

“We have a lot of experience in offshore drilling and governmental [procedure], and we have a lot of experience in the extraction of non-conventional oil,” Canadian Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver said, during an interview in Jerusalem on Monday afternoon.

“Israel is a hotbed of innovation and technological activity. I think we can learn from each other. I think there’s real potential to use our presence in the resource sector to work with the Israeli government in a commercially advantageous way for both countries,” he added, stressing Canada’s commitment to the existence of the Jewish state.

Oliver, of the Conservative party, was elected to the House of Commons in 2011 and assumed his ministerial office on May 18 of that year, representing the Eglinton- Lawrence District, a district northwest – and including a portion – of Toronto. Prior to entering politics, Oliver was an investment banker, and he earned an MBA from Harvard University and both bachelors and law degrees from McGill University.

As of Monday evening, Oliver had met with Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Shalom Simhon, the solar company HelioFocus, representatives from defense electronics firm Elbit Systems, researchers at the Technion- Israel Institute of Technology, oil shale developers at Israel Energy Initiatives and Israel Renewable Energy Association head Eitan Parness. He had also already visited Yad Vashem, and had dinner with Energy and Water Minister Uzi Landau on Monday night.

After meeting with Oliver on Monday night, the two ministers agreed to enhance their cooperation on energy security, environmental sustainability and economic development, according to Landau’s office.

Officials from both countries will seek to meet bilaterally more often, and as an initial step, Oliver and Landau may engage in reciprocal visits to Canada and Israel in order to build up their relationships in the energy sector, Landau’s office said. Only about $1.4 billion in annual trade currently exists between Canada and Israel, a number that Oliver told the Post he hoped would increase soon. “Now that Israel has discovered significant offshore gas and oil shale on land there are real opportunities to work together,” he said.

Natural resources make up about 10 percent of the Canadian economy – and 60-70% of that tenth is from oil and natural gas. Canada has a 174 billion-barrel oil reserve predominantly in oil sands, the largest in world, and recently hit number two in the world in uranium production. The country is also number two or three in the world in natural gas and hydroelectricity, according to Oliver. Meanwhile, although Canada continues to develop its expansive natural gas and oil reserves, the government has also devoted a significant effort – and $10 billion [Canadian dollars] – toward the advancement of clean and alternative energies, like wind, biomass and solar, Oliver said. “There’s potential here,” Oliver said. “We want to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.” As part of the Stephen Harper government’s overall 2012 Economic Action Plan, Oliver recently helped spearhead a policy called Responsible Resource Development, which he presented publicly at the 5th World Forum on Energy Regulation in Quebec City in May.

Responsible Resource Development is based on four main pillars – to make project reviews more predictable and timely, reduce duplication of project reviews, strengthen environmental protection and enhance consultations with Aboriginal people, according to his office. The policy would aim to eliminate inefficiencies and place time limits on reviews, while maximizing safety and environmental protection, by introducing weighty financial penalties for violators of conditions set by reviews. The plan should become law before July 1, Oliver told the Post. A week before presenting the Responsible Resource Development plan, Oliver had responded to a backlash from Canadian environmental groups about ongoing fossil fuel development in Canada, saying: “Extraordinary potential exists in every region of our country – natural gas in British Columbia, oil and minerals on the Prairies, the Ring of Fire in Ontario, Plan Nord in Quebec, hydro power and oil and gas in Atlantic Canada and mining in Canada’s North.”

The natural resources sector, he had explained, directly employs more than 750,000 Canadians, and is responsible for 10% of Canada’s $1.5 trillion economy and 40% of exports. Similar to the contention around oil shale and natural gas in Israel, in Canada environmentalists are strongly fighting against the ongoing development of oil sands and natural gas reserves – what Oliver called “a huge debate.” On Tuesday morning in Israel, environmental activists led by the Green Course movement gathered in front of the Knesset in protest of oil shale drilling by Israel Energy Initiatives – one of the companies Oliver met with – in the Adullam region. Gadi Kolker, one of the Green Course leaders, had charged that the Energy and Water Ministry was giving the oil shale firm “special treatment” and that there was a stark lack of regulations regarding oil drilling.

The way the Canadian government aims to appease both resource developers and environmentalists is through fact-based discussion, followed up by a strict regulatory system, in which an independent body performs analyses of each project – “to determine that it’s safe for Canada, safe for Canadians,” Oliver said. This will be even further regulated as soon as the Responsible Resource Development policy passes in the Senate, he added. “That might not satisfy some of our environmental groups anyway, but what you hope is that you can have a dialogue with people,” he said. “There are some groups that are unalterably against resource development,” Oliver added. While the oil sands reserves are expansive, they actually only encompass one one-thousandth of arboreal forests in Canada, and only emit one one-thousandth of global emissions, according to Oliver. All of the lands are rehabilitated after extraction, he explained. “An obligation is imposed on Canadian companies,” Oliver said. Most crucial, he said, is the idea that an outside, objective environmental review process takes place on any project before it is allowed to begin. While Oliver stressed that green growth and therefore the continued development of renewable energies is essential, he noted that the energy economy must still largely be based on traditional energy sources – on fossil fuels – for the time being. “You have to be rooted in the facts,” he said.

One of these facts, he explained, is that according to the International Energy Agency, energy demand will continue growing in the next two and a half decades, and conventional energy sources will remain dominant during this time. “Alternative energy is not going to supplant conventional sources of energy for the foreseeable future. That’s just reality,” Oliver said. “That doesn’t mean that the governments shouldn’t assist in technology improvements to make alternative energy more viable, including solar and maybe wind and biomass.”

The Canadian government, for example has already invested the $10 billion [Canadian dollars] in renewable energy and energy efficiency development, as well as reducing Canada’s environmental footprint, according to Oliver. “You don’t build an economy based on dreams,” Oliver said. “You have to have a vision, but it has to be rooted in reality.” While his government will continue to be present in assisting research and development sites, technology and early stage development, he stressed that the government should not be “over the long-term supporting any economic form of energy.” “At the end of the day it’s either the consumer or the taxpayer who foots the bill,” Oliver said. “It’s great to talk about these areas and to see what we can do to make the breakthroughs necessary, but it has a long way to go.”

Trading Tosfos For Tanks!

The Haredi World is being pushed out of the Yeshiva.  Pre-WWII, the learning was largely more successful and contained much better ratios in every aspect. Unfortunately today's majority post-WWII is not producing Gadlus B' Torah, i.e. where are the next wave of Gedolim [under the age of 100?!]

The equation is simple: The Yeshiva World should contain more structure and inspiration as opposed to spitting out raw material and inflated numbers.

Israeli society is being aided and ripened by the aspects of the army, to the point that Google's CEO has credited [his investment's success' in Israel] due to Israeli Army requirements.

Whether Haredim like it or not, admit it or not: The Army is calling and it may lead to a more productive Israeli Society; a more Biblical Israel as well: Talmidei Chachamim that understand part of Torah is War.

Jpost.com:

Thousands of haredi community members gathered in Jerusalem’s Mea She’arim neighborhood in the early hours of Monday morning to protest plans to draft the ultra-Orthodox into national service.

Police estimated that at least 5,000 men, women and children turned out at Kikar Shabbat, where leading rabbis of the anti-Zionist Eda Haredit organization led impassioned prayers to “avert the decree of army enlistment.” The highest authority of the Eda Haredit, Rabbi Yitzhak Tuvia Weiss, addressed the crowd, telling parents not to despair or be afraid of the forces of the state.

“This is our task, to teach our children the value of selfsacrifice for the sake of the Torah,” said Weiss. “We will not allow them to take yeshiva students to the army or the police. It is incumbent on us to give up our lives and not to stray from the path... The yeshivot are a tower of light for Judaism.”

Weiss added that proposed ideas such as integrating Torah study with military service are also unacceptable.

Rabbi Moshe Shternbach, head of the Eda Haredit Rabbinical Court, was similarly defiant. “We are the true soldiers of the Jewish people,” he said of the thousands of haredim studying in yeshivot.

“A soldier who abandons his post is considered a traitor, and so to with us it is forbidden to leave one’s post.” “The Zionists expelled the Arabs from the Land of Israel, what right do they have to disturb those who study Torah?” continued Shternbach.

“The only merit we have to be in this place is the merit of Torah and mitzvot, yet this they want to take from us.” The demonstration was called to protest new legislation currently being formulated in the Knesset to bring men from the haredi sector into military and national service programs. The Keshev Committee tasked with drafting the proposals is expected to present its recommendations in the coming days.

In February, the High Court of Justice struck down the “Tal Law,” enacted in 2002, which had provided a legal framework for full-time yeshiva students to indefinitely defer military or national service. There are currently 54,000 full-time yeshiva students who are exempted from army service within the framework of the Tal Law, which will expire on August 1.

Surprisingly, one of the most senior rabbis of the mainstream haredi community, Rabbi Shmuel Auerbach, was also present at the demonstration. The leaders of the non-hassidic stream of the haredi community do not generally associate themselves with the activities of the more hardline Eda Haredit. “We have to give up our lives against a decree which is part of our existence,” Auerbach declared.

“It is not possible that they will enter the world of Torah with compromises of quotas [for the number of yeshiva students exempt from national service], or that they can tell us who is an exceptional student [who can get an exemption] and who has to enlist.

We can’t give them a foot in the door.” The Eda Haredit leaders, who were assembled on a platform overlooking the square, led traditional mourning prayers typically said on fast days and times of distress for the Jewish people, with the shofar blown intermittently during the various prayers and supplications.

Some of the rabbis and crowd members wore sackcloth draped over their clothes, and small sachets of ashes were distributed that demonstrators sprinkled on themselves as a sign of mourning and contrition. The protest was called for 5 a.m. because that is when the gates of heaven open to receive prayer, said Pini Rosenberg, a spokesman for the demonstration on behalf of the Eda Haredit.

“We’re seeing the enlistment here of a large part of the haredi community and its leaders, and this huge gathering is saying today ‘no to decrees, no to compromises, we’re against all forms of the [military] draft,’” said Rosenberg. He added that in recent days rabbinical leaders of the community have appealed for funds from abroad to subsidize the yeshivot, should the new legislation substantially reduce state support.

Asked what the community will do if a law demanding obligatory military or national service for all is passed, Rosenberg said that the government should prepare 50,000 prison spaces to absorb yeshiva students who will refuse to be drafted. Also on Monday, a report on Ynet claimed that in a meeting with Keshev Committee chairman MK Yohanan Plesner (Kadima) on Sunday, Interior Minister and Shas chairman Eli Yishai described the efforts to draft haredi yeshiva students as a transgression within Jewish law that one must die for, rather than violate. According to the report, Yishai compared the draft to the three prohibitions that cannot be transgressed under any circumstances – murder, illicit sexual relations and idolatry.

However, a spokesman for the minister categorically denied that Yishai had compared drafting haredim into the army to these prohibitions. He explained that what Yishai meant was that coercively drafting haredim into the army would lead the moderate factions of the community to declare that enlisting in the IDF would be prohibited under any circumstances.

Jweekly:

The Israel China Cultural Festival taking place around the Bay Area this month has provided a marvelous opportunity to celebrate the growing ties between the two countries.

It’s a sign not only of positive bilateral relations but also of close bonds between the Chinese and Jewish people.

Unlike much of the rest of the world, there is no history of anti-Semitism in China. Jews have had business connections there for centuries, and Shanghai’s embrace of European Jews fleeing Hitler is a kindness never to be forgotten.

In addition, there is abundant evidence that the Chinese have a favorable view of Jews, admiring them for their intellectual achievements and ability to survive. They also see Jews as sharing Chinese values such as family and education.

Twenty years after China established diplo-matic ties with Israel, this has all translated into warming relations between the two. According to figures cited in the March issue of Foreign Policy magazine, bilateral trade amounts to nearly $10 billion, with China being Israel’s third largest export market.

More than 1,000 Israeli companies have opened for business in China, and there is talk of a bilateral free trade agreement sometime in the future. On the other side, Chinese delegations regularly turn up in Israel, clinching deals with Israeli high-tech companies.

To cite just one recent example, in February the countries’ finance ministers signed a $300 million deal to export Israeli water technology to China. Beyond business, last year China took part in the China-Israel Strategy and Security Symposium in Herzliya, signaling closer cooperation on security issues. This matters because, as the world’s second largest economy, China exerts enormous influence on world affairs.

That China is not in the pocket of Iran, Syria or the Arab bloc (though it does business with them) signals that China has chosen to be even-handed when it comes to the Middle East. Growing closer to Israel can only help. Which brings us back to the Israel China Cultural Festival.

With Silicon Valley and some 40,000 Israelis living in our region, and with China’s strong Pacific Coast presence, the Bay Area is a nexus for relations between China and Israel, between the Chinese and Jewish people. What with spiking Hamas rocket fire and Iran’s nuclear intransigence, it’s easy to get caught up in the bad news when it comes to Israel. Here’s something to feel good about. Thank you, China, and the Chinese people, for what we hope will be an enduring friendship.

Am Yisrael comes from Yaakov Avinu. We learn about "Plag HaMincha" from Yaakov Avinu, as when Yaakov wanted to daven Maariv at the site of the Beis Hamikdash, Hashem made a miracle:
He made the sunset on Yaakov and he the ground moved from under him, and he ended up at Har Bayis, and ushered in the night.
May Shabbos of "6000" find its way here in 5772, in the merit of Yaakov Avinu!

Flame: The Iranian Conquerer

If Flame is as powerful as "they" are reporting, is Iran already finished? Are we now only waiting for a lame duck End Game?
-It is being reported that Flame has the power to effectively destroy every type of infrastructure in Iran [and beyond].

ibnlive.in.com:

The powerful Flame computer virus is not only capable of espionage but it can also sabotage computer systems and likely was used to attack Iran in April, according to a leading security company, Symantec Corp. Iran had previously blamed Flame for causing data loss on computers in the country's main oil export terminal and Oil Ministry. But prior to Symantec's discovery, cyber experts had only unearthed evidence that proved Flame could spy on conversations on the computers it infects and steal data. Symantec researcher Vikram Thakur said on Thursday that the company has now identified a component of Flame that allows operators to delete files from computers, which means it can cause critical programs to fail or completely disable operating systems. "These guys have the capability to delete everything on the computer," Thakur said. "This is not something that is theoretical. It is absolutely there." Flame was deployed at least five years ago and is the most sophisticated cyber spying program ever discovered. Researchers have been racing to better understand its capabilities ever since Moscow-based Kaspersky Lab uncovered Flame last month after the security firm was asked by a United Nations agency to look for a virus that Iran said had sabotaged its computers, deleting valuable data. Last week, researchers at Kaspersky Lab linked some of the software code in Flame to the Stuxnet cyber weapon, which was widely believed to have been used by the United States and Israel to attack Iran's nuclear program. Symantec later also said Stuxnet and Flame shared some code.

Current and former US and Western national security officials told Reuters this week that the United States played a role in creating Flame. The Washington Post reported that US and Israel jointly developed Flame and used it to collect intelligence to help slow Iran's nuclear program. Iran complained about the threat of cyber attacks again on Thursday, saying it had detected plans by the United States, Israel and Britain to launch a "massive" strike after the breakdown of talks over Tehran's nuclear activities. It was not clear if the cyber attack referred to Flame, or a new virus. Symantec declined to comment on who the firm believes is behind Flame. Infrastructure at risk If Symantec's conclusions are validated, that means Flame could be used as a weapon to attack computers that run critical infrastructure systems, including dams, chemical plants and manufacturing facilities, security specialists said. Boldizsár Bencsath, an expert on cyber warfare with Hungary's Laboratory of Cryptography and System Security, said there was at least a 70 per cent chance that Flame was used to attack Iran in April. "Of course it can be used for sabotage," said Bencsath, who began investigating Flame several weeks before it was first reported to the public. "It may have been used to attack critical infrastructure and it may be used in the future." Sean McGurk, a former Department of Homeland Security official who helped direct the US effort to protect critical infrastructure from cyber attacks, said that Flame was not the first piece of malicious software designed to sabotage systems by deleting data.

What makes it unique, he said, is that the data-wiping module works alongside a suite of other programs including the espionage tools that have previously been identified. "It could render computing devices useless," said McGurk, who is now chief executive of a consulting firm known as NExt Generation Micro LLC. That presents a threat, he said, because computers are used in all sorts of industrial control systems, affecting everything from critical processes at manufacturing plants to the pressure inside water networks. "Cyber elements can have catastrophic impacts," he said.

Neil Fisher, vice president for global security solutions at Unisys, said Symantec's findings - if verified - mean that Flame could be "highly dangerous." "Many of our utilities have connected their operational management to the Internet to save costs," he said. "Water, gas, electricity certainly constitute the critical national infrastructure," he added. "Dysfunction of those ... systems could have uncomfortable consequences for a large number of people."

Respect of Shem The High Priest

Parashas Korach: Redemption of the Priest

Rabbi David P. Katz

In this week’s Torah Portion of Korach, we come face to face with the drama and personal response from Hashem when one encounters or even challenges the Priesthood of Hashem. The Priesthood has an interesting and historic heritage, one that ultimately both ends and begins with none other than Shem son of Noah. When Shem launched the New World, [one that would be built from Kindness and Righteousness, as an oath to Hashem] and began to disseminate Torah in a way that the Earth would witness a final redemption in the merit of Torah Brilliance, he was no longer acting as an ordinary man, but had now began to identify himself as Malki Tzedek. What separates Shem son of Noah from Malki Tzedek, is that Malki Tzedek is a Priest to God Above. Shem, in the New World had fathered an eternal Priesthood, one that would not only begin with him – but end with him as well!

The Torah speaks about the Redemption in a way that describes Four Redeemers, each of which is a Craftsman. These Craftsmen are Messiah son of David, Messiah son of Joseph, Elijah, and “The Righteous Priest” [Talmud Sukkah 52b]; The Bible commentator Rashi lists these men as Craftsmen in that the Messiah’s help build the 3rd Temple, Ezekiel’s Messianic Temple, Elijah was a craftsman in his famous episode of building an altar on Mt. Carmel, and the Righteous Priest is Shem, who was perhaps the greatest Craftsmen of all of them, based on his efforts with his Righteous father Noah when they built the Ark. The Ark according to the Midrash was an aspect of the Holy Temple as well, thanks in part to the mastery of “Melacha” / “Spiritual Labor” that was contributed by Shem. Thus what we have is essentially all of Jewish History, beginning with Abraham and extending until this very day and beyond, until the Prophesied Redemption, embedded in the life, mystery, and Priesthood of Shem. Shem gave the Priesthood directly to Abraham who would give birth to what the Torah calls: “A Kingdom of Priests”, a Nation that apparently waits to be redeemed by the four Messianic figures that are headlined by Shem himself.

In the Torah Portion of Korach in particular, we learn two essential lessons by the Priests: The penalty of ill-will towards the Priest and Respect to the order of the Priests. Korach as we know, challenged the High Priesthood of Aaron and this carried with it the two lessons that we can apply to the Priesthood of Shem as well: Aaron being restored to order by Hashem Himself, as the ground was called upon to swallow Korach and his rebellion and as a result Aaron was respected for all of eternal time by the degree of Sanctification of God’s Name, simply by Aaron being the true and proper High-Priest. Shem as well, when we look into what Shem stood for in the beginning and for what he stands for at the end of time, will be sanctified from any ill-will, and the result will be respect that reaches Messianic proportion. The first issue that must be understood and in common between Korach [and his followers] and Shem [and his detractors] is the nature and concept of ill-will as an apparent byproduct of the High Priesthood. Just as Korach challenged Aaron in what was a one-way ticket to the desecration of God, [the integrity of the entire Torah was at stake!] Shem fights this very war until this very day!

To first examine the plight of Shem, we must follow his Priestly roots to where he bursts onto the scene of the New World and his meeting with Abraham. As we know, Shem is being identified here as Malki Tzedek [My King of Righteousness] and is listed as a Priest to God Above. This is of course where the identification within Scripture gets very difficult to say the least in tracking what exactly was the “exchange” [as there was an exchange on many levels, the most basic of such was their dialogue and passing of Blessings] within Shem’s Blessings towards Abraham, upon which Abraham it seems ended the spiritual transaction with tithes to Shem constituting 1/10 “from everything.”

In the Talmud [Nedarim 32] the Torah makes one simple statement that has lingered in the study halls for thousands of years:”Abraham took the Priesthood from Shem, as a result of the ‘order’ of Blessings.” When one looks to the text in the Scriptures themselves in juxtaposition with the Talmud, it can be seen very clearly that the infamous order of Blessings bestowed by Shem towards Abraham was the manner of which Shem offered the tradition of Torah to Abraham; the order of Blessings was paramount for Abraham to learn the rites of receiving the Priesthood. Abraham did indeed take the Priesthood from Shem, but this was simply Abraham’s Kindness, as Shem was not only offering the Priesthood to Abraham but literally giving it to him, such that anything short of Abraham taking what was being given to him would be the opposite of Kindness! We can learn from Korach in this very matter about the dangers of ill-will towards a Priest, and a High Priest for that matter! Yes it is true, that the Priesthood was now being routed through the seed of Abraham, but Shem was never removed from his role, nor will he ever will be, as evidenced by his status as “Righteous Priest!” The ground may not open up and swallow he who character assassinates Shem simply out of ignorance, yet we can fathom and even safely assume, it does not please Hashem to hear for thousands of years all that “has come upon Shem the Great!” If Aaron suffered by the hands of Korach, and the integrity of the Torah was at stake in that episode, how much more so can we believe that understanding Shem and his Priesthood [High] weighs at least as much as the threat against Aaron. And if it were not for the laws of logic, one could surmise that Creation itself depends on righting this crime! For the Redemption is contingent upon the success of Shem, and as long as Shem is guilty, can the Four Craftsmen come if there is no one there to receive all four of them?! This brings us to our final point: the Priesthood must and will be fully respected. Just as Aaron was restored to full Glory after Korach and his rebellion were swallowed, we must find it to be paramount to honor the Priests, and that falls nothing short of Shem son of Noah, Malki Tzedek. Once Shem is seen in a good light, his honor will be restored, as it should amongst all Priests, High Priests no less. Shem should serve as the hero when it comes to honoring the Priest, which happens to be one of the 613 Commandments that all Jews must acknowledge. Under these terms the Noahides will find their honor, as the Talmud states: “A Noahide who is busy with Torah is likened to the High Priest.” Aaron reminds us, that God remembers his Priests, just as the Torah was commanded to capture the moment for Aaron. Whether it is returnees to Judaism, Noahides, or even Shem himself, the priests have honor, and it is incumbent for all believers in Torah to the Priests as does Hashem intimate. As we see from the Talmud, the Redemption is at least partially built on the concept as in reference to the Righteous Priest [Fourth Craftsman - Shem] along with a Midrash in Parashas Nasso that states: “King Moshiach comes not for the sake of the scholarship within the Jewish People, but for the delivery of Thirty New Commandments to the Noahides!”

The Vilna Gaon explains that most Torah concepts contain two sides that are really one thing. For example, “I am Hashem Your God – You should have no other gods.” If you look carefully, you will see it is a reiteration! It is explained that there is much Kabbalistic meaning to this perception, however it applies nicely to our scenario with Aaron and the Priests: do not have baseless ill-will towards Priests and honor the Priest. Aaron suffered tremendous ill-will, and strangely enough this is what it took to give eternal honor for everything that he stood for. Yet when we look to Shem, he lacks a certain Korach, but he suffers at the hands of what seems to be endless adversaries. When we learn the Torah, and we come upon the numerous references of Shem within Torah, one must do his best, to not only find merit in a Man who is one of the few perfectly Righteous Men in Torah literature, but break the habit of baseless ill-will [to a High Priest no less], and sanctify the other side of the coin as well: give and restore honor where honor is do – this is Shem the Great, Shem My Lover [says Hashem], Malki Tzedek, A Priest [High] to God Above…May he be sanctified in Truth, forever, and usher in the Redemption among the Priests, as the Righteous priest, Shem ben Noah.

New Israel: Eretz Canada and Pax Judaica

Canada: A sleeping giant - waiting in the rough to pounce onto the diplomatic universe - on the fringes of Isreal?

Has Canada been eyeing international presence, waiting for the right scenario?

Economically, Canada is doing better than anyone, as it is reported, "Canada is showing us the leadership," said Benjamin Katz, managing director at HSBC Securities USA Inc. in New York.

So is the time now for Canada? - in an End Game Cooperation with Israel? They have been neutral for so long, laying low from America's dominance...now is the Canadian arrival?

CBCNews:

Israel has received private assurances Canada stands ready to help defend the Jewish state, but just how far the Harper government intends to take that commitment remains unclear.

Newly released documents say Defence Minister Peter MacKay told Israel's top military commander, Maj.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi, during a 2011 visit to the Middle East, that "a threat to Israel is a threat to Canada."

The statement came a year after cabinet colleague Peter Kent was upbraided as junior foreign affairs minister for telling a Toronto-based publication that "an attack on Israel would be considered an attack on Canada." The declaration, appearing in an internal summary of MacKay's trip to Israel, could have important implications given the increasing military co-operation between the two countries. Under the Harper government, Canada's support of Israel has been unwavering, even in the face of mounting international tensions over Iran's nuclear program. When he met Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Ottawa earlier this year, Prime Minister Stephen Harper emphasized Canada wants to see a peaceful resolution in the troubled region, but it's unclear how far Canada has committed itself in the volatile region.

A spokesman for MacKay said the defence minister's comment was intended as an expression of support. "Minister MacKay was making a statement of political solidarity with the Israelis and reminding our friends there that they are not facing global security threats alone," said Jay Paxton in an email. The Israeli embassy declined comment, but pointed to remarks Netanyahu made to Canadian-Jewish publications following a speech by U.S. President Barack Obama on March 5, 2012. "I appreciated the fact he made clear that when it comes to a nuclear-armed Iran, containment is simply not an option, and equally in my judgment, and perhaps most important of all, I appreciated the fact that he said Israel must be able to defend itself, by itself against any threat," the Israeli prime minister said. Defence relationship deepens Canada's military and industrial relationship with Israel has grown enormously.

The two countries are negotiating or have signed a series of defence-based agreements over the last few years, details of which have been withheld. The two countries do not have a binding defence arrangement, similar to Canada's obligations under NATO, but critics have begun to question the details and extent of the emerging relationship. "These kinds of comments have consequences," said NDP foreign affairs critic Paul Dewar. "We're talking of a very sensitive part of the world. Every word you use has to be chosen carefully and so the question is: Is this the position of the Canadian government — or the Conservatives — when comes to a conflict in the Middle East?" MacKay's assurances, unearthed by a Queen's University researcher using the federal access-to-information law, came during a Jan. 9-12, 2011, bilateral visit, where MacKay also met with Netanyahu, Defence Minister Ehud Barak and opposition leader Tzipi Livni.

To underscore how intertwined trade and defence have become, the Israeli prime minister emphasized "the Iranian threat," but also expressed interest in buying waterbombers from Montreal-based Bombardier and asked MacKay to convey a letter to Harper. Speaking to Barak, MacKay "stated Canada was a solid partner and that both countries were looking through the same filter" on the region, said the Feb. 14, 2011, summary. Dewar said it's no secret the Conservatives have a one-sided approach to the Middle East, but he believes it will ultimately damage relations with Washington. "It's fine to say we are friends of Israel and we support Israel. Sign me up, absolutely," he said. "But Canada's role in the world is to be able to talk to people the Americans can't talk to and to go to places where the U.S. can't."

MacKay and Barak signed a memorandum of understanding following their meeting, a document that acts framework to guide defence co-operation. Deal covers intelligence, technology, procurement Documents obtained by The Canadian Press under access to information shed light on the scope of that co-operation, which extends to the exchange of classified information, defence science and technology research, and defence procurement. On the military side, the Canadian air force has taken the lead and "is looking at deepening relations with Israel given its modern and dynamic Air Force," said a July 27, 2011, briefing prepared for MacKay. Also last year, Brig.-Gen Eden Attias was quietly named as Israel's defence attache in Ottawa, the first to be appointed in North America outside of Washington since 1948.

The countries have agreed to exchange secret defence information, a matter that required considerable negotiation, according to the documents. Another aspect of the arrangements raises the possibility of joint military procurement. The two countries co-operated extensively when Canada went shopping for drones during the Afghan war and settled on the Israeli-made Heron. The agreements also open the door to more Israeli participation in Canadian defence projects, specifically Elisra Electronics Systems Ltd.'s work on the Halifax-class frigate upgrade.

All Hail President Gog!

The Great Israeli - Russian Highway is being paved: It seems the bond is greater than people thought between the Soviets and the Israelites. (intended)

Would one one million Russians be wrong? (or not be used properly - by either side!?!) Advantage: Putin! [in Bibi's court of course; = Friendship! - and why not?]

Asiatimes.com:

The two-day state visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin to Israel next week will raise eyebrows. Plainly put, it comes a little too early in his presidency - he took over the office as recently as May 7 - but underscores the Russian leader's sense of priority regarding Russia-Israel relations. Its timing comes at a juncture when the two countries are apparently far apart with regard to critical issues of regional security in the Middle East - Syria and Iran - and it seems improbable that the hiatus could be bridged easily anytime soon. Yet, Putin is returning to Israel for a second visit after a gap of seven years, and he is after all a transactional, results-oriented politician. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would know for sure that Putin can be trusted to bargain hard to get the best results for Russia in any given situation, but he could also be a valuable partner, especially if United States President Barack Obama gets re-elected for a second term in the White House. The motivations on both sides - Moscow and Tel Aviv - are complex and although their priorities may vary, it stands to reason that Russia and Israel are also drawn together in a realization that a partnership between them could be beneficial and in their mutual interest by augmenting their leverage in more than one direction - and may even be a factor of regional stability in the Middle East.

What is often forgotten is that Putin always had a warm feeling toward Israel and is on record as saying as recently as the end of last year, "Israel is, in fact, a special state to us. It is practically Russian-speaking. Israel is one of the few foreign countries that can be called Russian-speaking. It's obvious that more than half of the population speaks Russian." The ostensible reason for his state visit next week is to inaugurate a memorial at Netanya to the Red Army's victory over Nazi Germany. The memorial itself has come up as a result of Netanyahu's state visit to Moscow in 2010, when he agreed with Putin (then prime minister) that Israel should commemorate the Red Army's sacrifices. Netanyahu said at that time, "The memorial will express the great appreciation that we feel for the Russian people. Many Jewish Red Army veterans currently live among us, here in Israel. The memorial on the shores of Netanya will also symbolize their contribution and heroism." Putin is also, in a manner of speaking, undertaking a "private" visit to Israel. Paradoxically, while the US is considered Israel's close ally, Obama himself isn't a terribly popular figure in Israel; on the other hand, while Israel harbors misgivings bordering on disquiet about many of Russia's policies in the Middle East and considers them at times to be unfriendly and unhelpful, the high level of Putin's personal popularity among the Israelis should be a cause for envy for Obama. The point is, the million strong Russian-speaking Jewish emigrants from the territories of the former Soviet Union have integrated well into Israeli society and hold important positions in Israel's national life.

They constitute a humanitarian, cultural and economic bridge between Israel and Russia. Having said that, politics is a big divider and the main template of Putin's forthcoming visit is going to be over Syria and Iran. Briefly put, Israel and Russia find themselves in opposite camps over both those countries. Russia is opposed to foreign intervention in Syria, while the Israeli hand keeps popping up apparently fomenting violence there - the latest reports mention Israeli aircraft ferrying weapons to Kurdistan in northern Iraq (which were procured by Qatar for the use of the Syrian rebels). For its part, Israel resents Russia's military cooperation with the Syrian regime. Prima facie, it may seem there is no meeting point on Syria. But then, Russia and Israel would also have a convergence of interests in the overall stability of what is Israel's northern neighbor. Russia would apparently have more by way of shared concern with Israel than the US would have in regard of the rise of Islamism in the Middle East. While in the short-term Israel might regard a regime change in Syria as a gratifying development, it cannot but remain concerned that there could be a domino effect of any Muslim Brotherhood triumphed there. (Interestingly, Putin is heading for Jordan after his visit to Israel.)

This brings up a core aspect of Russia's "intransigence" with regard to the Syrian situation. While Western commentators look at Syria being a "client state" of Russia, they blithely overlook Russia's fear that ascendancy of radical Islam in Syria can easily spread to its extended neighborhood in Central Asia and the North Caucasus. Of course, Russia will never allow itself to frontally articulate these Manichean fears (lest it is pushed into an existential struggle vis-a-vis militant Islam), and the nearest it could come would be such as when Russian Foreign Minister Sergey wrote in an article titled "On the Right Side of History" in the Huffington Post last week: The Arab revolutions clearly show a willingness to go back to the roots of civilization that reveals itself in broad public support for the parties and movements acting under the flag of Islam. ... Such a situation is further proof that the simple (if not simplistic) binary construction of the Cold War period, described in the paradigms of East-West, capitalism-socialism, North-South, is being replaced by a multidimensional geopolitical reality. ... In practical terms, Lavrov explained, what it amounts to in the Syrian situation could have grave implications for both Russia and Israel: What seems to prevail ... are attempts to bring about regime change in Damascus as an element of a larger regional geopolitical game.

These schemes are undoubtedly targeting Iran, since a large group of States, including the USA and NATO [North Atlantic Treaty Organization] countries, Israel, Turkey and some States of the region appear to be interested in weakening that country's regional positions. An attempt to cut the Gordian knot of long-standing problems is doomed to failure. ... Irrespective of the situation concerning Iran, however, it is evident that fueling intra-Syrian strife may trigger processes that would affect the situation in the vast territory surrounding Syria in the most negative way, having a devastating impact on both regional and international security. Risk factors include loss of control over [the] Syrian-Israeli border, a worsening of the situation in Lebanon and other countries in the region, weapons falling into the "wrong hands", including those terrorist organizations, and perhaps the most dangerous of all, an aggravation of inter-faith tensions and contradictions inside the Islamic world."

Whether Putin succeeds or not in nudging Netanyahu's thought processes in the above direction, he can be expected to give it his best shot. The high probability is that Putin may not succeed in this mission. His "meaningful" conversation with Obama on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit in Mexico on Monday would have brought home that the US and its allies are already so far gone into the business of forcing a regime change in Syria that there is no easy turning back at this point. Again, the prospect of a "weakening" of Syria on the Middle Eastern chessboard in itself becomes a heady thought for Israel in the prevailing circumstances, and it may put a blinker on it from pondering what lies beyond, despite being so obviously challenged already by the victories of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and elsewhere in its Arab neighborhood. Ironically it may be an easier task for Putin to persuade Netanyahu to give negotiations a chance to resolve the Iran issue. Russian diplomacy worked hard in recent weeks to see that the P5+1 [the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany] talks with Iran in Moscow on Monday didn't end up in a catastrophic failure. Talks between Iran and the P5+1 on Iran's nuclear program were suspended due to what European Union foreign-policy chief Catherine Ashton said were "significant gaps between ... the two positions."

An "expert-level meeting" would be held on July 3 in Istanbul, Ashton said, with a high-level meeting to follow at an unspecified date, depending on the progress of the expert-level meeting, RFE reported. If the talks finally ended on a hopeful tone on Tuesday, much of the credit would go to the behind-the-scenes Russian (and Chinese) effort. The fact that the talks are going into a third round - in Beijing or Astana - is itself a breakthrough. Beyond that, to quote the chief Iranian negotiator Saeed Jalili, the Moscow talks were "more serious, more real and beyond a mere statement of positions". Jalili is on record as saying that "Iran has no problem with transparency" - hinting that it is open to international verification - and is prepared to prove its peaceful program "technically, legally and politically". But he said, Iran's "right to access peaceful nuclear energy, particularly uranium enrichment and nuclear fuel production cycle should be recognized." It is unlikely Putin would get into detailed negotiations, but he could lend a big hand to restrain Israel from taking any precipitate action in the critical weeks ahead. Of course, the most fascinating part of the visit might come if Putin and Netanyahu get around to exchanging notes on how they weigh the prospects of their countries' relations with the US in the event of Obama securing a second term. If the body language of the Putin-Obama meeting at Mexico on Monday was anything to go by, the two leaders are at some distance away from striking the chord of a friendship. Netanyahu of course has been a victim of Obama's "tough love" and often seemed uncomfortable with the experience .

The Black Flame in the Raqia: MBY in the Galil

Details are emerging about the virus "Flame"

It isn't so radical to think that the visionaries of Ancient Past had perception of cyber reality. How else would one convey the image of a computer virus named Flame if not embedded in a vision of "reality"? The real point is, this "Flame" is very real! ...So tangibility is appropriate [within visions of the Geulah].

The interesting thing, is that ever since the advent of the i-pod, the World truly is moving into a cyber realm - what isn't cyber today? It is as if the World is being relocated within a bottle..making the Navi even more credible and in a brand new Light!

Everyone has their theories about the nature of the 60 day tekufa, so here is my total guess [that means nothing] as guesses are subject to constant changing on everyt whim!

If the story basically broke Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, then 60 days is Rosh Chodesh Elul - the day that Moshe Rabbeinu brought down the 2nd Luchos. Our job is to [hope] that we have repaired the Luchos! And then head into Yom Kippur [and Rosh Hashana] holding on the madreiga of Geulah!

Time Wave Zero indicates that 17th Tammuz and Rosh Chodesh Elul along with the holidays [the trek of Moshe Rabbeinu] are dates and tekufos of note: of which launch into a jam-packed winter. Time Wave Zero predicts that  all of time will be compressed into the final tekufa at the end of the year. Is all of time compressed in a final 60 days? - The Zohar of the Black Flame states that the concept of "6" (which Time Wave Zero openly predicts the final 6 days) is really "60", based on the Vav of Yaakov.

Will we experience what the Zohar calls "the open door" in the final 60 and 6 days before "72.5"?

Foxnews.com:

Israel and the United States collaborated in the development of the powerful computer virus dubbed the "Flame," which briefly affected Iran's key oil industry, an official with knowledge of the effort said. The Washington Post reports that the massive piece of malware, which collected critical intelligence information from Iran, was created with the aim of slowing the country's suspected nuclear weapon development. The Worm.Win32.Flame threat, or “Flame” for short, was likely built by the same nation-state responsible for the Stuxnet virus that targeted Iran’s nuclear power plant in 2010. Many suspect Stuxnet was the work of Israeli intelligence. Flame has unprecedented data-snatching capabilities and can eavesdrop on computer users, a senior Iranian military official told the Associated Press. The virus was designed to send back a stream of information used for an ongoing cyberwarfare campaign by secretly mapping and monitoring Iran's computer networks, the Washingonton Post reported. The virus can activate a computer's audio systems to listen in on Skype calls or office chatter. It can also take screenshots, log keystrokes and -- in one of its more novel functions -- steal data from Bluetooth-enabled cellphones. “Our current working theory is that flame and Stuxnet were parallel projects,” Roel Schouwenberg, a senior security researcher with Kaspersky Labs, told FoxNews.com. “Whoever commissioned Stuxnet also commissioned Flame.” That cyberattack was very specific, however, while the Flame attack is broad, having been detected in more than half a dozen countries already: Hungary, Iran, and Lebanon, Austria, Russia, Hong Kong, and the United Arab Emirates, as well the Palestinian West Bank. “Flame is a cyberespionage operation,” he told FoxNews.com. Iran's government-run Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Center has said the highly sophisticated Flame virus appeared linked to espionage, but cited no specific country or source. Ali Hakim Javadi, Iran's deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology, was quoted by the official IRNA news agency last month as saying that Iranian experts have already produced an anti-virus capable of identifying and removing Flame from computers. Geneva Doomsday: Finding Ben David

The Particle Collider: Bringing Proper doom into the World?! Will Hashem use "Chaos" to usher in Metaphysical Torah?

MSNBC.com:

Physicists using Europe's Large Hadron Collider say they haven't seen any microscopic black holes yet — and perhaps they never will. The most they can say right now is that if they exist, the exotic objects would have to have a mass of more than 3.5 trillion electron volts. Some flavors of string theory have suggested that micro-black holes could be created at the LHC if the universe has "rolled-up" dimensions in addition to the three space dimensions plus time with which we're familiar. In such a universe, the force of gravity might become dramatically stronger at very small distances, and colliding particles occasionally could create an energy density large enough to produce a black hole for just an instant of time. Two years ago, CERN theoretical physicist Michelangelo Mangano told me that the black-hole scenario was a long shot. "In order for the LHC to produce some of these black holes, we really have to go beyond the normal theory of gravity," he said at the time. "We have to assume that there are extra dimensions. By the way, there are many theories that have extra dimensions. Not all of them would give rise to black holes at the LHC. It's only highly fine-tuned ones that make this possible." So it's not correct to say that the lack of black holes suggests string theory is a failure. In fact, string theory covers so many possibilities that another theoretical physicist, Arizona State University's Lawrence Krauss, jokes that it's a "theory of anything" rather than a theory of everything. But the latest findings do eliminate some of the theoretical models, which is a useful exercise. The current state of things is described in a draft paper submitted to Physics Letters this week by the team analyzing data from the LHC's Compact Muon Solenoid detector, or CMS. It's also summarized in a statement from CERN. The CMS collaboration is due to take much more data next year, and Nature's Geoff Brumfiel quotes CMS spokesperson Guido Tonelli as saying the LHC should be able to exclude the creation of black holes almost entirely by the end of the next run. For years, the LHC's critics have worried that microscopic black holes would somehow spin out of control, despite physicists' reassurances that such a doomsday scenario runs counter to theory as well as observations. The latest findings demonstrate that it's harder to create a black hole than some theoretical physicists may have thought. But the bottom line remains the same: DON'T PANIC.

The Truth Hurts: Colliding With Hashem

The God Particle: version 1,000,000,000... 2.0 [2012]

Point being, they are not going to find it. The real question is, what is the metaphysical damage that they are inflicting onto Mankind? For anyone who has seen Star Trek, those are the scenarios that are spoken of in association of the Geneva Collider: Black Holes [on Earth], Time Travel, Worm Holes, Space-Time Continuum, etc.

Whatever its worth, the Collider is either an expensive dud or a super metaphysical wrecking machine. I believe the former but something says the latter is behind a neo-chaos theory superimposed reality, that is causing natural disasters upon Mankind through the hands of Mankind.

Scientists are clearly manipulating Reality, so is Hashem manipulating reality through Man as opposed to nature? For example, the Euro problem is really a Black Hole if you look at it the right way. Banking in America is a virtual Tsunami, etc. Is Hashem bringing plagues to Man by the shortcomings of Man, as opposed to rogue natural disasters through nature? Is Man bringing the End of Days Prophecies into fruition?

Between now and 2013 physics in Geneva have one goal: Reveal the Face of God. Interestingly, the Vilna Gaon says in the time of Moshiach, Science and Kabbalah will merge. The only problem with this theory, is that where are the Kabbalists seeking the Face of God?!

-The Geulah begins on Earth with the removal of the concealment [of the Face of God] on Earth (Histaaras Panim) - Ramchal

Will the Higgs enthusiasts be the vessel of the removal of Hisataaras Panim? Will God begin to show the World The Divine and begin the Geulah in what could be the ultimate chutzpah of Man? - to find God through Chochmas Yavanis (The Wisdom Of Greece)

hindustantimes.com:

Physicists investigating the make-up of the universe are closing in on the Higgs boson, an elusive particle thought to have been key to turning debris from the Big Bang into stars, planets and finally life, scientists said on Tuesday. Researchers at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) are using their large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world's biggest particle accelerator, to try to prove that the mystery particle really exists. Poring over huge volumes of data, CERN physicists are confident they are now closer to achieving that aim, outside scientists with links to two key research teams at the Switzerland-based facility said. "They are getting quite fired up," one scientist outside CERN but with links to the experiment who declined to be named told Reuters. Strong signs of the Higgs were being seen in the same energy range where it was tentatively spotted last year, the scientists added, even though the particle is so short-lived that it can only be detected by the traces it leaves. The quest for the obscure but scientifically crucial Higgs boson is being conducted by harnessing the LHC's high energy accelerator, which is located on the edge of Geneva, to replicate the Big Bang, the process scientists believe brought the known universe into being. The Higgs is named after Briton Peter Higgs who in 1964 first came up with a detailed idea of what it might be and is the last major missing piece in the so-called Standard Model of how the universe works at the elementary particle level. Its formal discovery, once it is endorsed by the world scientific community, would almost certainly ensure a Nobel prize for Higgs, now 83 and retired, and perhaps for at least one other European physicist and one American. Speculation The scientists spoke of their CERN colleagues' progress after research chiefs at the Swiss facility decreed a cut-off last weekend in the processing of all data related to the search for the particle ahead of a major physics conference, ICHEP, in Melbourne in mid-July. There has been widespread speculation that a major announcement on the Higgs, based on careful analysis of the most interesting of over 300 trillion proton collisions in the LHC so far this year, may be made at that gathering. But there was no confirmation from CERN itself that it was close to formally announcing it had discovered the particle and its linked energy field, thought to have given mass to matter and shape to the universe 13.7 billion years ago. Researchers on the collider's separate ATLAS and CMS detectors have been "blinded" - or cut off from findings from the rival team and even from different groups inside their own. CERN spokesman James Gillies said the centre would want to make any important announcement, once there was something to say, in Geneva. "As for what ATLAS and CMS may or may not have in the 2012 data, that's only known to a few people in each experiment right now," he added. "Blinding" is used in science to ensure that different groups working on identical experiments but with different if similar equipment do not influence the outcome of each other's research. If they then come to the same conclusion, they can safely be seen to have independently validated each other's results, clearing the way to actually claiming a discovery. In December 2011, after some 16 months of collisions at lower energy levels than this year, both teams joined at CERN to say they had separately seen "tantalizing glimpses" of the Higgs but needed more time to be sure if it was really there. Data still coming in after last weekend's analysis cut-off will be processed later in the summer. Physicists say that more than half of the collisions produce nothing of scientific value and the record of their tracks are automatically dumped.
